Anna + Luke: A Love Handcrafted

Overview
Custom Wedding Branding, Letterpress stationery and Packaging
Anna and Luke’s wedding was more than an event – it was the beginning of a handcrafted brand rooted in their shared passions, personal story and artistry. We collaborated to build a fully immersive brand experience that spanned print, digital, packaging, and tactile design, all created with intention and meaning.
Their visual identity centered around the monogram A+L, a timeless emblem featuring dried heather stem – a nod to both the whiskey distillation process and their love for nature and the outdoors. The symbol became the foundation of their wedding story and evolved into a brand for their creative business.
We designed and produced a full letterpress print suite, including invitations made with handmade custom paper embedded with wood chips and yard fibers – representing Luke’s hand-turned wooden bowls and Anna’s hand-dyed wool and knitting craft. Every detail was curated to reflect their shared life and passions.
To celebrate their wedding, Anna and Luke distilled their own small-batch whiskey, a process that reflected their love of tradition, patience and craftsmanship. The Whiskey was not only served during their celebration, but a portion was bottled, sealed and set aside as a gift to be opened one year later on their anniversary – a gesture of aging, evolving and horning time together.
We developed a brand for the whiskey called Wood + Wool, named for the two materials that defined each of their crafts: Luke’s handmade bowls and Anna’s hand spun and dyed wool masterpieces.
You will find several thoughtful touches of “A Love Handcrafted” woven into every corner of their wedding day. More than a wedding – it was a living brand experience that honored their past, celebrated their present, and planted seeds for their future together in craft, love and life.

Art Direction
Art direction is where my creativity and strategic thinking meet – and truly the part of the process I’m most passionate about. There’s nothing more fulfilling than bringing all the moving parts together – creative concepting, team collaboration, thoughtful planning – and watching a visual story come to life and support the brand.
With deep experience in leading art direction for lifestyle and product photography – especially with Cabela’s/Bass Pro Shops – I’ve been part of developing highly visual storytelling-driven campaigns from the ground up. I thrive in the planning stages, helping guide timelines, budgets and creative goals. From concept to execution, I partner closely with internal teams and merchants to tell a ensure assets tell a story, capture the brand’s essence and also support long-term marketing goals across all touchpoints.
My role in the Art Direction process begins early: participating in planning and budgeting, securing freelance talent when needed, and aligning creative direction with seasonal campaign and product launches. Working alongside seasoned photographers, videographers, stylists, hair and makeup, voice over talent, I help shape stories and highlight apparel, gear, and branded product in ways that are compelling, practical and scalable.
Every shoot is thoughtfully curated to support a library of assets for a wide range of touchpoints – print, digital, e-commerce, social, in store and beyond. I consider longevity and versatility in every scenario, building content that’s as useful for a seasonal launch and product cycles as it is for long-term brand storytelling.
For me, art direction isn’t just about creating something beautiful – it’s about crafting a cohesive experience, building a narrative that connects with the customer and watching a vision become real. It’s where I feel most at home and most inspired.
Here’s a look at some of the content I’ve help to life – each one a blend of thoughtful planning, collaboration and storytelling.

Brand & Design
While my core passion is creative strategy and art direction, design has always been a part of how I think and work. I lobe building brands and designing with intention – thinking through not just how something looks but how it feels, what it communicates, how it fits into the bigger picture and how it performs.
From logos and brand identity systems to campaign assets and packaging, I approach each project with a storyteller’s mindset and eye for consistency across all platforms. Even the smallest design choices support a broader narrative – and I believe that kind of alignment is what makes a brand feel powerful and connected.
Here are a few highlights from past branding and design work. While this just a small selection, these visuals reflect the thoughtfulness and consistency I bring to every creative initiative. If we have the opportunity to collaborate, I’ll bring the same level of strategic thinking and attention to detail – develop creative solutions that are tailored to your brand, aligned with your goals and built to scale. Let’s build something that brings your vision to life.
